An Introduction

Hi my name is Patricia, I'm currently a stay at home mom (what a surprise) to two beautiful children. Gracie is 3 years old and Sammy is 11 weeks old.

At the moment I really should be cleaning, but I decided to start a blog as I set here watching Gracie play with her play dough toys and Sammy sleeping in his rock and play. My laundry is so piled up you can't even get to the washer without walking on clothes. I keep saying I'm going to get it organized and in the laundry bins, but it still keeps sitting on the floor as I start the washer with the same load of clothes it has held for at least two days. I think this is the fourth time I have started it. I keep meaning to make a fun play craft area in my kitchen for me and Gracie, but that just seems like it would take way too much work. I'm teaching my self to make wreaths and I seem to have an obsession with making desserts. Monday I attempted to go back to work and I lasted two days before I gave up and called out. I called out the first day because I can't pump enough milk to supply Sammy with while I'm at work. I decided to quit my job and stay home with the kiddos until he is at least 6 months old. That is my goal with breast feeding, 6 months and then at 6 months I will move the goal up to 1 year. I love being able to breast feed my son and apparently he is the best at getting milk from me. I wasn't able to make enough milk for Gracie so we done both nursing and formula. She self weaned at about 7 months. I'm very blessed to have both of my children. They are both healthy and Gracie is extremely smart. Sammy is very alert for an 11 weeker and I love watching his little eyes get huge when he makes his hand do what he wants it to.  I baby wear with Sammy. He loves to be worn and held close. Gracie hated it and was very independent from the day she was born. She is a daddy's girl and Sammy so far is a mommy's boy. Well I guess this is all for now. I'm going to try and get at least one load of laundry washed, dried, and folded before Sammy wakes up and then I'm going to get in the floor with Gracie and play with the play dough she is begging me to open.
